Who wasn't at least a little excited watching Tebow play yesterday? It almost made me excited to be a Broncos fan. I almost looked passed the fact they lost.
Now, another Broncos player gets arrested. Kevin Alexander has been dumped from the team.
9NEWS reports Alexander’s girlfriend called 911 Monday morning.
Alexander was cut Monday afternoon. I know, I know… no one has heard of him.
Still, our viewers and readers aren’t happy on 9NEWS.com.

What a promo! We had a great time shooting it. It's supposed to look similar to the Today show's promo.
We shot it yesterday. It gives you a look at our digs here at channel 9.
This will begin airing today in the 4 p.m. news.

When will it snow? I must admit, I am ready for a lot... Maybe on the weekend.

No fresh powder, but a storm was coming in hard as we left.
Now off to brunch.

About 20 couples at his church had marital problems when they connected with former lovers on Facebook, he said.
I’ll keep my social networking. In fact, I’ll post this on Facebook. Past loves… come and get me. …Though I’m really not interested.

Before I could check into the Best Western in Sterling, Colo., the nice desk lady asked me to read and sign a white sheet of paper with a notice printed on it.
There’s been a bed bug infestation in an area hotel, it said. Of course it didn’t tell me which hotel.
“They look like specks of pepper,” she said. She promised me they weren’t found at my hotel, but wouldn’t tell me anymore.
By signing the form, I was agreeing that I wasn’t checking in from another hotel in the area (and thus not tracking them in) and they would be checking for bed bugs in my hotel room every day.
…Not sure if that’s comforting or concerning. Yes, I signed it.

Immediately, I asked her what was wrong. She told me for years she and her husband had to go to the food bank because they couldn’t afford enough groceries.
This was the first year she could afford to GIVE. It was such an important day in her life and an important less for all of us.
To this day, I have NEVER forgotten this woman. She probably doesn’t know how often I’ve thought of her.
This year, a four-year-old came up to me with her piggy bank and asked if she could donate what she’d saved. Her parents watched proudly. I know they had to be impressed. I sure was. (I put a few pictures of her in the slideshow above.)
9Cares Colorado Shares means the best station in the country teaming up with the best viewers in the country to help make the best holiday possible for people who are often enduring the worst times of their lives.
I’m proud of everyone who donated, I’m proud of my friends and colleagues who chose to come out to help and I’m proud to be a part of the huge and compassionate 9NEWS family.
Now I can't end without humor... What happens when you give a mic to Drew Soicher and add music? (Kidding about the no tone part. His wig is part of his Harry Potter costume.)

Ah, they changed their mind… about the pedophile book.
Amazon looks to have decided selling a book offering advice to pedophiles isn’t a best business practice.
The book is no longer available online. Dozens of people told me they planned to boycott Amazon for selling the book. (Somehow I found an image of the books cover. Tough to look at, eh?)
Now that Amazon isn’t selling it, will you go back to buying books from them?

It's the Pedophile book.
The pages of angry readers go on and on. There are 208 of them to be exact.
I’m talking about the number of pages filled with anger directed at Amazon.com for selling the book, The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure.
The big question here is (as the AP asks,) should Amazon vet books before they are sold?
If they did, where would they draw the line? Where should they draw the line?
Here's what Amazon told my colleagues at 9NEWS.
"Amazon believes it is censorship not to sell certain books simply because we or others believe their message is objectionable. Amazon does not support or promote hatred or criminal acts, however, we do support the right of every individual to make their own purchasing decisions."

Many of you thought the interchange and bridges were a waste.
Plenty of people told us in our live chat that they were happy CDOT was thinking ahead and building the road before it traffic counts demanded it. An equal number were unhappy with CDOT.
Here are a couple comments…
“That was a very solid, thoughtful, fair and middle of the road (if you will excuse the pun) piece that you reported on air last night,” Thomas McNeill, the attorney for the land owner e-mailed me.
Kurt Klein wrote to me saying he didn’t care if he missed the story. He ended up watching it and seemed to agree with CDOT’s road plan.
“With the economy at an ebb, maybe now is the time for some jurisdictions to consider investing in future infrastructure.” Klein said.
Klein also seemed to indicate he doesn’t care for my reporting very much.
You are welcome to read other comments on our 9news.com story page.

No matter who you are, I suspect you’ve been teased or bullied. It happened to me because my family couldn’t afford the name brand Starter jacket my friends owned. It happened to me because my mom couldn’t buy me the new pair of Air Jordan shoes others had.
For some… it goes much deeper and is much more painful.
I challenge people to stand up to others. When you hear people laughing at an overweight person in the grocery line who is having trouble with his or her cart, allow the rude shoppers to see you help the person in need. When you watch kids making fun of other kids, talk to your own children about the way you hope they act.
It’s up to all of “us” to show all of “them” how to act compassionately.

No sooner had I arrived here than it started to snow. What a welcome to Denver.
Looking at the weather today, it’s hard to believe it ever snowed this time of year. Doesn’t this picture look like (except for the leaves) it could have been taken July 20, not Oct. 20?
Looking south there’s not a cloud in the sky. I love the weather, but can’t wait for ski season either.
I guess the sun and warm weather are nice three year anniversary presents.

I’ve learned differently and here’s how.
With a little persuading over a meal at Village Inn, I convinced experienced medical marijuana grower Chris B. to do something he’s never done before, show the public his very large medical marijuana grow operation.
His house sits smack in the middle of a wealthy Highlands Ranch neighborhood. He uses about a thousand feet of his 5,500 square foot house to grow legal medical marijuana.
I knew I was in a grow house the second I walked in the front door. The smell makes it unmistakable. The odor stayed in my clothes long after I left.
Chris is in the big leagues in terms of the scale of his medical marijuana growing operation. When you see my story on 9NEWS after the Olympic Opening Ceremonies you’ll understand what I mean.
He clearly doesn’t mess around and is proud of his operation.
“Even for experienced growers, it's kind of overwhelming,” Chris told me. “Their jaws drop just like yours,”
Plants cover the entire floor of three, sometimes four rooms.
Chris showed me his medical marijuana license which allows him to grow for himself. He also showed me a book with copies of the licenses for people who registered him as their care giver. State law allows him to grow for those people too.
His neighbors have no idea was goes on right next door. Friday night we’ll show you the numerous other neighborhoods around the metro area where your neighbors could be growing.

Will the tablet make an appearance? And if so, will it cost $1,000 as some rumors state? Would you pay that much?
Here are just a couple images that Apple “dorks” have imagined. I am not claiming these are correct, but the "commercial" is interesting.
